Hi, is there any site that holds up-to-date digital rolling stock lists that you can download to a computer and then get updates on?

Abrail have listings of all UK rolling stock, vehicle numbers, liveries, home depots, etc. It isn't guaranteed to be 100% accurate but it's pretty good I find

Yes it's an Android app .... BUT it is coming to a iPhone as well ... the developer is working on it now

SpotLog is an app for Trainspotters that runs on Android smartphones and is coming soon to iPhone.

The app allows you to record loco and unit numbers, keep a log of trains seen and mark the sightings off in the apps "book" section. The "Book" section contains class lists and information and gets its data from the LocoList database.

SpotLog for iPhone is under development and will be in beta test early in 2018


You could always "volunteer" your services as a beta tester for IOS!!!

Trainspotter is another one- not sure if it is compatible with iPhone though.

A bit more basic than spotlog but good enough and i find less fiddly to use. Personally I use them both and would recommend either.

The sync feature on spotlog is great and enables you to run it on several devices and transfer sightings via a central server.
