Different take on Crewe Heritage Centrte

These three circular shots were made using photoshop on a single exposure.

Method:
1. First select (or take) your shot. It should be taken at 90degrees to the train with the train on the horizon. Try to pick (take) one that is some distance away from you, so that it shows a number of carriages. In this case it was of all three carriages of the 185 unit.
2. Level the shot in PSE. Do not approximate this, it needs to be exact. Use the rectangular marquee tool to see that the horizontal line of the tool is exactly parallel with the rail, or train roof.
3. Carry out any necessary work such as lightening/darkening/convert to B&W etc.
4. Crop the sides of the photo so that the buffers of the train just meet the edge of the frame.
5. Go to Image/Rotate/Flip Vertical
6. Go to Filter/Distort/Polar Coordinates. Select Rectangular to Polar. Click OK.
7. Hey Presto!
8. Reduce to required size
9. You may have to do some cloning work where the ends meet to even up the background etc.
10. Apply sharpening
