Hello,

Please excuse my naivety, but I am a complete newbie (although I have for some time enjoyed lurking in this forum, particularly expolits of ticket loop-holers, and I recall doing quite well in the RSH Olympic Prediction league that I think Sonic set up)

Two Things:
Firstly, at work we use Redfern (tRIPS) system to book tickets. I was looking for a Luton to London Victoria ticket and the system offers me a Standard Anytime Day Travelcard for £32 (it shows I can use this on the 7:04 EMT out and the 15:04 EMT return). Oddly, it offers me a Standard Anytime Day Travelcard for £33 which I can use on subsequent trains (ie 7:04 FCC and returning on15:10 FCC). I always though the STd Anytime Day travelcard was one price.
It does similalrly with Standard Anytime Day returns, offering me one for £28.40 and one for £31.30
Any ideas why this is?

Secondly, can one post codes in this forum? (If not I will edit and remove) There is a current Red spotted hanky promo for £10 evoucher in the Portsmouth news
Here is the page
http://www.redspottedhanky.com/e-voucher-offer/

Codes are
4KNRSH
3JBRSH

Thanks

The Travelcard price is 33.00 from Luton, and 32.00 from Luton Airport Parkway. I'm not familiar with the system you are using but it seems to be treating the two Luton stations interchangeably and offering journey options from both.

The same applies to the returns, 31.30 for Luton - Zone U12, or 28.40 for Luton Airport Parkway - Zone U12.

Good spot, that appears to be exactly what's happening. User error, If I search for Luton it offers both, one has to more specifc and select Luton Station.

I did ask to excuse my naivety

It is rather odd behavior, given most other systems use the name "Luton" to mean the town centre station only. I would have got confused too if it were me.
