I have a split ticket for which one leg is valid on a TPE service and the other a Cross Country service. The TPE one states ‘Valid on specified TPE trains only’ whilst the Cross Country one states ‘Reserved Cross Country trains only’.
I understand Advance tickets and have no worries about their validity for my journey, but I am intrigued by the different lines used. Are they just describing the same thing in different ways (in which case why not have standard lines?) or something different?
