Hello and good evening,
about nearly two years ago, I've purchsed at Accurascale one of the very promising looking class 92-locomotives in 'Caledonian Sleeper'-livery and additionally to form a real train further on a Mk5-coach pack. Time went on and now I got an e-mail, that the models were shipped and are on their way. To be honest, I cannot wait to see and try these fantastic looking models on my layout, so I've checked out YouTube for first impressions of these models. On that occassion I've noticed, that the 92010 will be delivered as an 'Accurascale Exclusive'-model with an extraordinary looking box, some sort of numbered certificate and may be more accessories, which makes this loco something special. As I've ordered the 92038, which is not labelled as an 'Accurascale Exclusive', I'm just curious about the delivery content. When I made my order both locos were advertised the same way without any differences in 'Exclusive' or not. Also the price was the same. So I've chosen the 92038.
It might sound as a silly question, but is there the slightest difference between these two locomotives (92010 vs. 92038) in the outfit, technical details or any kind of accessories etc.? If yes, I would feel a little bit ripped of, because at time of ordering absolutely nothing was mentioned about the 'exclusiveness' of 92010.
Thanks a lot in advance for any informations.
Regards
