Diesel haulage around Cologne

I am off to Cologne for work in a months time and will have evenings free any suggestions for Diesel haulage from there or is it all electric

There are no loco-hauled, regular passenger diesel trains around Cologne (or anywhere in NRW for that matter). Cologne sees some DMU work, on the line Bedburg(Erft) (RB38, Talent DMUs), to Lüdenscheid (RB25, LINT) and towards Euskirchen (RE12, RE22, RB24, LINT).
The most intresting stuff in regular service is 110 469 on RB48 (Wuppertal stopper) duties (which can be replaced with Talent 2 EMUs at any moment) to the following diagram, MFO:
