I was wondering if anyone has any info on the place, as im plannin to take my dad next weekend and just wondered what the place was like.

He'll be like a kid in a sweet shop as he's mad about GWR, but for my younger self thinking more about the trip down, as planning to take the Wrexham & Shropshire service from Tame bridge to Banbury and change there, any comments on the Didcot Museum or about travelling with the WSR would be great....:D

They have a GWR Diesel railcar. That alone makes the place awesome.

Might also be worth visiting Swindon at the same time. STEAM, a museum, is just 10 minutes walk from Swindon station.
