Did I see a Deltic today...

Travelling on the 9.56 Coventry to Nuneaton train, I thought I saw a Deltic flash by in the other direction.

Was this so, and how would I find out? (preferably in advance next time!)

LSL had Crewe to Eastleigh move. I’ve no idea of its consist.

Thanks. It may have been a 37 I suppose.

Still don't know how to find out about these movements in any useful detail.
May just have to bite the bullet and subscribe to Rail Advent again - though an occasional visit to see a passing steam engine is the only use I ever got for my £35.

Certainly whenever I've turned up at Nuneaton or somewhere there's at least a dozen other people that seem to know about it! While at Shrewsbury there's usually 50 or so. They must get their information from somewhere.

I generally look at the railtour links thread, but I'm usually doing that after seeing a path on RTT, or seeing it pass unexpected.
