Hi ment to post this on Sunday. Did anybody apply for ticket office at Audley end or dispatcher at Ely I have applied for both my question was do TOCs mind the train being your only way to get to work. And second what are greater Anglia travel benefits like I know free travel on there network but what about other TOCs. And third can you travel first class for free lol

As long as you can get to work for all the start times then the train is fine (getting home is your problem ).

You get free travel on GA plus there might be some benefits on other TOCs operated by the same parent operator, you get a TOC card which entitles you to 75% off full price tickets (normal advance tickets are normally better value though) and no you cannot travel in 1st class at all.

Curious as to why they get free travel on the Merseyrail, do GA have an interest in the company?

Do Northern employees get free travel on GA too?

That's a good point actually, I remember when NXEC took over the ECML, they sent out letters informing us NXEA staff were not entitled to travel on NXEC and vice versa, to and from work.

MR, NR and GA are run by Abelio, albeit MR is a joint venture with Serco.

If it's anything like my TOC, the owning comapny of GA will at least part own Merseyrail and Northern. My TOC owns Southern and Southeastern as well, so I get free travel with them as well as on my own network.
