Does anyone know if Diamond Bus South East - based in Heathrow, are winding down operations ?

Born out of Rotala/Hallmark/Surrey Connect, the number of public routes have been dwindling over the years with the loss of routes such as 458 Staines-Kingston to other operators, leaving a handful of Heathrow night routes such as N555 and A60.

White Bus appear to have registered the N555 currently operated by Diamond effective from the end of August, and Diamond also appear to be cancelling their A60 registration from late August, so this appears to leave that brand with just shuttles between Bedfont Lakes and Staines, and Royal Holloway University and Egham.

Diamond still operate the Hotel Hoppa services, so I guess this is keeping things turning over ?

Sounds like they are withdrawing from the low margin stuff and focussing on HH and shuttle/contracts.

It's a few years ago now but I used Diamond (was still trading as Hallmark) and was one of the most unprofessional outfits I'd seen. Also used HH and it was a former NatEx e200 and it was deplorable. Diamond has come a long way but this outpost less so.

Not sure why the assumption is winding down after a couple of contracts were lost at retender.

I believe that Diamond/Hallmark have been successful in winning another Heathrow area contract though.

And there are quite a few coaches here on contract/PH work.
