Sounded like another trio of productive days in this part of the world, I bet the bus was quite scenic
That looked like a very enjoyable Rover. Quite a variety of trains too.
Liked the accompanying photos.

I did chuckle at all the ice creams. Can you charge them for delay-tooth decay?

Split tickets to Stoke-on-Trent. Cheshire Day Ranger from there!A good few trips by the sound of it and congratulations on getting Pilning.Out of interest what ticket did you have for Manchester?
EDIT: Just noticed that it was a Cheshire day ranger![]()
Pilning was very quiet!Sounded like a good trip to the open day, a good trip to bag Pilning & a productive day in Cheshire![]()

Terminating Voyager, Bristol Temple Meads 14.10.17 by DSH Trains, on FlickrAye, if there wasn't that queue, the day would have been perfect! It wasn't the amount of people there, more the H&S limits they had set!A good couple little trips there D, shame the open day was a bit busy meaning a long queue.
I bet those waiting for the majority of attractions in central London didn't have to wait that long! Glad to know you like the photos!Apart from the one and a half hour wait (I’d want to see the pyramids if I had to queue for that long) it looked like a good day.
Nice to see the GWR gala have a write up too.
Great photos Dhass.![]()

Not many of us lot in the regular trip reporters club that have had one yet, although I have the crown of being the first of us lot to have one![]()
Mind you your mileage on the class is far better than mine, 3 lots of 11 miles and 60 chains for me!
Something tells me you're not going to get all your GWR HST power cars in the book before they go, a job I cleared on 12th May 2008. By pure chance on my last two, and both involving racing over to South Wales after missing them at Swindon, being glad FGW as it was back then were running bang on time! Not bragging at all...![]()
I am glad I like them as well! As I expect I will spend a lot of time on them myself!I’m glad to hear some positive stories about the IETs because lord knows we’ll be stuck with them for a while!
Which GWR power cars do still need Dhass?

I will have to come back at one point and have a look around, especially at the busesQuite an interesting day there, it must be said! Your visit to my most frequently visited station must have been very short, but good work on getting all those shacks in![]()
Aye that area was nice! Good to see some active semaphore signals as well (at Abergavenny). As Tech said. A nice bit of the world to trundle around in. I even liked the bus!
Great views as you pass over the original Severn Bridge. Toll Free as wellCan't turn down a good bus move, as you see different parts of the country, especially from a double decker
