What remains of this? i remember passing it in the car as a kind and thought it had been ripped up like tinsley, but i went past in dark and sure i saw some wagons there?

yep thats exactly what i meant, my mind slipped as i have a model track plan book that calls it what i put.

I'm not sure what goes on there now TBH, although I believe the scrap coming out of Crossley Evans at Shipley goes there to be consolidated with other locally tripped scrap to go on somewhere else (Sheerness?). This may be completely in my imagination though.

Healey Mills still controls some of the signals around that area, although no idea what the yard takes in these days. There is a cement terminal just after Ravensthorpe towards Healey Mills, so that might go through.

Last time I was there the main traffic was Ballast Train outstabling, storage of stock and some trains on crew or loco change.

Scrap from Shipley runs directly to Cardiff these days,
and the occasional trains from Laisterdyke to Liverpool
now split/join at Neville Hill, so the only trains which still
'stage' at Healey Mills are those to/from Attercliffe and Lincoln.
