Deutsche Bahn selling Arriva future job prospects

Having just applied for a job as a trainee train driver with Northern and reading that Deutsche Bahn are exploring the possible sale of the Arriva subsidiary. Do you think they will put a freeze on the company taking on new trainees until it’s been sorted out?
