While staying in Ludlow last weekend I saw a number of class 175 workings, not one of which was showing any form of destination indication. I had thought that this was a requirement under DDA rules, but it seems to be becoming more and more common to see blank unit ends (of many classes) these days. Then there are the unreadable 7xx series indicators (except at night or underground!). What is the state of play in this regard? It seems to be optional from what I have seen, but I hadn't heard of any change in the rules regarding a relaxation.
