Is it me or have destination boards at stations become harder to see? There’s only one on each platform now and they’re tiny

I find this is usually the case at London Underground/Overground, but this seems to be the case at most stations in London. Boards are smaller and there’s now only a single board instead of two (unless I’m misremembering)
