BORING!!!

lol its like my dad he does this. He just got Windows 7 and the first thing he did was turn Aero off! I was like nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! :cry:

Half the fun of Vista/7 is the Aero effects. Minimising and Maximising windows repeatedly

It doesn't waste them. It uses what would left unused anyway. I always think that having a good graphics card and having aero switched off is a waste...

Once playing a game etc Aero isn't still taking up reasours. And it only uses an extra 20-ishMb RAM which with modern computers having 2-4Gb its not gonna make much of a difference...

And Aero does look very very very nice

I was going to get one, but then I went away on holiday and am now short of money, and I want to go somewhere else a lot further away as well... lol

Some users just want a bog standard interface that they know, and that works. Not some silly flashy ZOMG IT MOVES thing.
