Hi,
Here is my latest Desktop. Don't use train pictures for this. I like to get away from them now and again! The photo is of the Castlegate, Aberdeen and is a handheld shot taken with my Canon 350D, with an ASA of 1600 to allow enough shutter speed. This was taken at the right time, with just enough light in the sky to avoid inky blackness.

Norton is always unhappy. :tongue3: From 2005 till 2007 February Norton is not happy with my computer cause I seldom do virus scan. Because of this everytime I play full screen games, I will end crashing cause Norton virus scan is running. I mean everytime I do a virus scan maybe once a 4 month I don't even get a single infections. Symantec can't trust its own Firewall. hock: Anyway April Desktop now with Mcafee Antivirus. I bought it $65 cheaper than Norton!

It doesn't work like that. User accounts, last time i checked are independent in their choice of resolution. Win98 always had that problem though!

Well, when I tried to change it, my Dad's went to 1024x 768 also.
May have something to do with both our accounts having admin privilages.

Cor you lot with AOL are really silly Its bad to start off with , you cant remove it from your computer without formatting the whole thing , Its quite expensive and for nortons dont get me started...

No, changing the resolution will do so for the PC, not for the user. That's the default behaviour now.

Windows98 did it by user, but that was a pain (maybe it's OK for home use, but not for a network).

You can probably change the default behaviour, though I am not sure how (never needed/wanted to), there is this application but I have no idea how good it is. Alternatively a manual registry hack may be able to do it, I'm not sure.
