I can't set my own desktop as I am not the only person who uses the computer, however, I'm hoping to change that, so soon I may have my own :)

Use the Users system on the computer... then log into your user and set your own desktop.

No I can't, the internet only works on one persons when I do that...

...but I've decided the rest of my family will have to put up with this now:

It shouldn't do that - how do you connect to the net?

Ooh, the Livebox... do you connect via USB or Ethernet?

Get your family to plug in the Ethernet then it'll work, oh, and it'll be faster, too.

Actually, I think I am using Ethernet. but it's easier to each use the same area of the computer, so this'll do, my family don't seem to mind so meh

That sure is!
Just after starcross isnt it? Used to go fotting down there whilst staying at Dawlish years ago,got pics somewhere of Blue 47's/37's/HST's & LL 50's somewhere at that location(if it is where I think it is).Nice pub just by the road as well,sit outside behind a small wall,get drunk & watch other people working on the railway whilst I was A/L.......its all good.
