Curious as to the diversion route for the GC service - possibly originating from Halifax with revised timings, then New Pudsey etc?
A TRAIN has been derailed between Mirfield and Wakefield Kirkgate causing delays of up to 45 minutes.
The line between Huddersfield, Wakefield and Brighouse has been affected.
Buses are replacing trains between Huddersfield and Wakefield Westgate, calling at Deighton, Mirfield and Wakefield Kirkgate.
Grand Central services between Bradford Interchange and London King's Cross will be diverted and not call at Brighouse or Mirfield.
Journey times may be extended by up to 45 minutes.
The incident, which is believed to involve a freight train, was reported at 8.32am.
