National Rail Enquiries currently reporting of a low speed derailment at Insch, with ScotRail services suspended between Aberdeen and Huntly until at least midday.

ScotRail advise it was a stoneblower that has derailed in the night.

A low speed derailment near Insch means that the lines between Aberdeen and Huntly are blocked. Trains running between Aberdeen and Inverness may be cancelled or revised. Trains will be revised to not run between Huntly and Aberdeen.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.
Customer advice:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Stagecoach Buses 10 and M96 between Aberdeen and Inverness.
Please note Insch is not covered by local bus agreements.
