Taken from the XC Website.

A derailed freight train is causing disruption between Birmingham New Street and Leamington Spa.
Because of this, trains between Leamington Spa and Birmingham New Street are being diverted via Coventry and journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes. This will continue until further notice.
Chiltern Railways and London Midland services are not affected by this disruption.

Can anyone shed any light onto what happened?
