I have great memories of when I was a kid and the depots my dad took me round. Depots where we turned up with our hi viz and asked were Stratford, Toton, Tinsley, Eastfield, Old Oak Common, Bristol Bath Road, Laira and St Blazey. Probably more but can't remember.
Open days I remember Laira (several), Bescot, Eastleigh and Gloucester. I understand why they don't really do them anymore but shame they don't. I have never been fortunate enough to do the DRS open days as I am always working the day it falls. I missed the more recent open days at Old Oak, Toton and Eastleigh as I was away from the scene. Frustrating thing for me is Crewe Electric is where my last 90 for sight is and there is little chance of that working again.
