Depot travel times

Good morning all,

When a TOC states you must live within a certain time of a depot (let’s say 60mins) Is that in normal conditions with normal traffic?

If I apply somewhere and apple maps says 67mins with 18 mins of traffic currently. Would that go against me? Considering the shift patterns there are likely to be open empty roads with hardly any traffic (49mins) but if they were check at a certain time of day during a busy period they might get the time like the one stated currently (67mins)

How do they even check?

Try using something like AA autoroute. That just takes into account the route without traffic. If you’re over the maximum alloted travel time on that then you’re probably out of luck.

Ok thank you for this, very app I have takes traffic so just used this method and I’m under like I thought.
