Depot open days

Hi, im a newbie on this forum and apologies if in wrong section and if so could the mods help me??

Was wondering if any of the train depots in the uk ever have open days where members of the public can visit??

Im a small bus operator and am getting more and more interested in trains and the underground and am particulaly interested in the depots and maintanence facilities / operations...

Any help would be massively appreciated

thanks guys, found out about the upminster open day before, hence me askin about others as im unfortunatley gonna struggle to make it, but thanks for pointer anyway...

Def gonna try to get to the Leeds one though, should be great!!
