I applied a couple of weeks ago. The original closing date for applications was 27.07.17, but was put back 8 days for whatever reason.

Also, the way the advert is worded I think it is more of an engineering/maintenance role and shunting is part of of the job.

I am presuming more than role is available for this job, I read a news article on the miller hill depot, I believe it is not currently in use by scotrail. The plan is for the new electrified trains that travel in the central belt area are to be maintained there.

The new depot still being built, though they are cracking on with it at some rate, was originally meant to be open for December.

Was this advertised on the standard Abellio Scotrail careers website?

Has anyone that applied heard anything back, other than a confirmation email?

That's unusually quick for railway recruitment! Do you know if those guys were internal?
Thanks

Any word on this (these) vacancy's? My application is still showing as current and under consideration but haven't heard anything other than an application received email.
I believe the depot is meant to be fully operational by the end of the year so would have thought it would have been a relatively quick (by railway standards) process
