DSB has announced the return of the summertime-only rejsepass (travel pass).

DKK399 (about £45 or €54) per adult or DKK199 per child, but each adult can bring two children under the age of 12 for free.

The pass gives you 8 consecutive days travel on all* buses and trains throughout Denmark, applicable with with Arriva, BAT (Bornholm), DOT, DSB, FynBus, Letbanen, Metro, Midttrafik, Movia, Nordjyllands Trafikselskab (NT) and Sydtrafik.

* I haven't checked to see if there any omissions, but it looks comprehensive.

Buy any time from 1 June until 31 July, use it from 25 June until 7 August. The number of travel passes is limited to 75,000 - so when they're sold out, they're sold out.

It is a repeat of mostly very much the same offers in last years. You MUST choose the period in advance and this cannot be changed afterwards-maybe they also try to regulate that not anyone starts on day 1? I remember some 2 yrs ago-but that was 2020 and in the start of the covid epidemic, that the quota as not yet sold in last week of offer.
It is valid in fact in all transport-except the (many) boats/ferries that Denmark has. Including the to open brandnew tramway in Odense on 28/5. On ´lyntoger´ with mandatory reservation you have to pay to do that if wishing to use. Also new special rules for taking bikes aboard trains.

On a related topic; CZ/CD will also again offer its 7 day train only network pass (though note that there are more and more branchlines contracted out to other operators) for 890 CzK (=about 35€).

Last year there where 100.000 passes for sale and "only" 51.751 got sold. In 2020 there where only 50.000 on sale and the price was only 299 DKK and they sold out in 3 days.

This year even more people are probably traveling internationally and as usually there are many construction works with bus replacements in the summer holiday, which makes taking the train less attractive.
Most people also just bought one-way tickets last year, which was on sale for 99 DKK. DSB sold 520.164 of those last summer.
