The price catalogue suggests that there's a 0.0027€ charge per issued ticket.

The UK's eTVD system (of which there are multiple participants anyway) doesn't levy charges for issued tickets.

No, so it seemingly affects retailers rather than operators (though it sounds like there's an annual fee for those users too).

The UIC eTCD does charge per ticket issued. I’m not sure exactly the pricing model of the UK’s eTVDs, but seemingly they do not. The other point is a misunderstanding. The UK allows multiple interoperable eTVDs, as does the ERA system, it’s just that only the UIC one exists for now.

Well, the UIC’s interests don’t always align with what the ERA is doing.

A small update:

They are offering me as compensation £25.25 transfered to my bank account. For me this is more than fair enough. Let's just see if this international wire transfer is going to work.
