Thinking of seeing the engine in leeds then jumping on the 11.40 towards Shipley plan being to leap frog the deltic at Armley then see it at either Shipley or more towards steeton and silsden

Is it worth a punt ?

I would give it a go, sounds like fun. :)
You should have a 9 minute cushion to play with so go for it.

The 11:40am however is to Bradford Forster Square so you would not be able to travel on to Steeton & Silsden but Shipley would be fine.

The 3rd (or it might have been the 2nd  ) coach had no number (from what it could see as it left Doncaster. Was a Chocolate & Cream (FO?) Mark 1, could anyone provide the number of that coach.

As Alycidon came back into the platform for departure from Carlisle, anyone else see sparks dropping to the track from just ahead of the mid axle, left side fwd bogie? I've watched my video several times, and looks as if the source is the fwd brake block.

What might this be caused by?

Thanks - Morpethcurve
