Sitting on 1D25, 17.49 Kings Cross to Leeds, stationary outside Peterborough, trespassers on the line apparently.

Pheww! Missed that! On the 17:19 to Hull.

But, rather annoyingly, after arriving 4 mins early at Doncaster we leave 6 mins late due to waiting for the late running Newcastle service to pass. This is not the first time.

Indeed - this train has just passed me on my way home from work running 38 minutes late - according to RealTime Trains... ----> 1D25

Currently there are 7 trains backed up trying to get into Peterborough Station from the South...... PBO

VTWC aren't having a great day either, 1630 Euston to Glasgow cancelled, currently on the 1643 to Edinburgh sitting at Preston waiting on a train manager. Apparently another train's been cancelled here too.

Probably not home before 0030 now.

Set off about twenty minutes ago, speeding along with everyone none the wiser. No clue at the Cross as to any problems. Will be interesting to see if we have to slow down!

Just passed the Hitchen flyover at speed.

WCML major problems at Carstairs, the 14.30 and 15.30 ex Euston both terminated at Preston, nearly as bad as yesterday at Lockerbie, OLE fault then a nasty fatality in the station.

Not a good day on either coast then. When does delay repay start being paid in cash? :D

Ended up getting in to Dundee, rather annoyingly, 1 hour 52 minutes late.

i was on the 1719 Kings Cross to Hull several weeks ago and i was held for over 13minutes at Doncaster for a late running ECML service to pass. Given that our train would leave the ECML shortly after Doncaster it was difficult to see why. The guard commented that he had never known being held for so long.

I have become quite familiar with the look and layout of Longlands junction, for the amount of time i have been held there for a late running EC service, and been made significantly late myself as a result. (17 minutes last week!)

All train operators are equal, but some train operators are more equal than others!

1D25 was delayed due to a tresspasser being persued by police jumping off an overbrdge onto thelineside at Yaxley south of Peterborough, then receiving the subsequent medical attention

On a train...somewhere!

Quite! To be fair York North are fairly good in most instances ... but if you're on a stopper that would be well clear of Northallerton High Jn before the VTEC in rear would have begun to see cautionary signals it does seem somewhat pointless to sit and wait it out at Longlands Jn.

ECML disrupted this morning due to multiple TCs showing occupied on the USL and UFL at Biggleswade, trains being talked by two signals and losing around 15mins. Rectification by 0900 hopefully!

Currently near Biggleswade going nowhere.
Edit: now moving after being overtaken by an EC service.
Edit2. And another one. Hmmph!

Couldn't possible comment on regulation on ECML South

Looking at a lineup for Kings X arrivals it appears normal working has resumed, at least on the UFL.
