Delays in Kings Cross area (05/12)

My daughter is sat at Knebworth on 1T11 (17.10 Downham Market - KGX) which was due to arrive KGX more than 1.5 hours ago.

Southern end of the East Coast is littered with stationary trains and NR reporting a power failure. Anyone know what's going on?

Things are looking up for my daughter; 1T11 has set back into Stevenage and appears to be in pole position on Platform 1 to be the next round the Hertford loop. A lot of passengers are not in such a good position.

The queue for Stevenage is insane. A train in each section on both lines Stevanage to north of Hitchin with GN letting up services (1T79) leave Letchworth to become trapped trains. Unbelievable.

Was driving 1A50 got held up in this. Luckily we didn’t pass the point of no return and signaller routed us onto the Hertford loop.

Still 80 odd mins late into the Cross.

After the delayed 2R54 passed Knebworth around 0050, Network Rail took possession and will fix a damaged registration arm between then and 0430. 2P21 is to be the first service through in the morning.
