So this evening peak there were delays at Kings Cross (due to an earlier fatality further up ECML I believe) which resulted in some very short timings between announcements and trains leaving! 
e.g. the 18.14 KGX-KLN arrived in Kings Cross 18.11/18.12ish, was announced 18.12 and I don't think left too late (18.16 maybe?). This is probably one of FCC's busiest services out of KGX (Royston, Cambridge, Ely, Downham, Kings Lynn) - 12car, full with standing.
Safe to say I have never seen so many commuters run LIKE THEIR LIVES DEPENDED ON IT to get to that train in 2 mins. concourse emptied.. Similar scenario a few mins later with the Delayed 18.03 KGX-SKI about 3/4 mins in advance. So funny, and quite a regular thing.
Also 19.03 KGX-LDS was cancelled however announcements to say the 19.06 KGX-LCN would now run to Leeds with replacement bus to Lincoln (from Newark I presume, can't remember what it said). Has this happened before? First time I have seen it, if so, that's a pretty quick replacement bus organised?
