How do I go about delay repay with a ticket bought at a station?

Situation today is thus:

0546 Wigan NW - Euston cancelled at Stafford (meant to arrive London at 0800)
0724 Stafford - Birmingham NS
0814 Birmingham Moor Street due London Marylebone 1015

(Praying for no carnage on way back with Taylor Swift at Wembley)

Ticket bought: off-peak return Wigan - London Terminals.

It makes no difference where it was bought.

RTT indicates that the 0546 ex Wigan North Western was due into Euston at 0833 and actually arrived at 0955, delayed by 1h22m. Presumably in the chaos at Stafford you received some advice to use an alternative route as no-one knew how long the delay was going to be. Quite reasonable to apply for a delay from 0833 to 1015, i.e. 1h42m. Avanti's DR system will probably automatically allocate the 1h22m delay, which should be acceptable. If not you may have to seek manual intervention.
