Journey was Aylesbury Vale Parkway to Weymouth.
Tickets held:
AVP-London Terminals Off Peak Return
London Terminals-Wareham Super Off Peak Return
Wareham-Weymouth Evening Out Return
Contactless used to cross London. Not bought as a through itinerary though the itinerary used was valid (actually half an hour slacker than the one planners would offer on a through ticket; the through Super Off Peak is a bit useless, though, as due to not applying the Network Rule it is valid on just one itinerary per day bar Sundays at roughly 1300 which didn't suit).
Outward journey arrived Weymouth about 70 minutes late due to terminating short and a delay to the following train. The claim will be from SWR.
How does DR work with a split across London like that these days? Do I include the Tube contactless fare or not? My inclination is not as it isn't a railway matter, but if I don't will they reject it because there was a gap?
Has anyone submitted a claim with such a split across London to SWR recently and had it paid first time? If so how was it put in?
Thanks.

Through tickets from AVP/Aylesbury to other NSE destinations tend to be set by Chiltern and are very often extremely poor value compared to a split.
