I purchased two returns using the Northern App from York to Bridlington. The section York to Seamer is TPE, the remaining part to Bridlington is Northern. The outward journey was fine. On the return journey the Northern train was on time but the TPE train from Seamer to York was cancelled resulting in a delay of an hour caused by waiting for the next train.
Who do I claim delay repay from, Northern or TPE. When I have had this situation arise before Northern have passed the buck to TPE, who just ignored any claim.

You claim from the TOC that caused you to be delayed, so TPE in this case.

It's always the company who caused the delay. Sometimes that can get a bit complicated if you have multiple delays. But in your case it would be TPE as it was their train that was cancelled (whilst the Northern one was fine).
