Hi

after some knowledge from those in the know :

recently claimed for an 2 hour delay between leeds and kilgetty.

the tickets were split : leeds to sheffield SHR, sheffield to derby SVR, and derby to kilgetty SVR.

I have received the response from TFW for the delay [cancellation of carmarthen to kilgetty, 2 hour delay].

The response states that compensation can only be paid on the ticket valid for that part of the journey, namely the Derby to Kilgetty saver.

Is this right?

Thanks

Is that written down anywhere, so i can back up my appeal??

Thanks
NRCoT 14.2 refers:
14.2 ... you may use a combination of two or more Tickets to make a journey provided that the train services you use Call at the station(s) where you change from one Ticket to another.

You are still making one journey when splitting and accordingly compensation is payable based on all tickets used.
