Hi,

Journey was Aberdeen to Brighton with spilt tickets.

One of the trains (x country) was delayed for just over 15 minutes but there threshold is 1/2 hour.

Last train (Southern) was delayed due to a fault, just shy of 1/2 hour so probably only get a couple of quid?

Do they work it out on the price of the whole journey or just my Croydon to Brighton single?

And how do I submit it when journey was more then one change?

Thanks.

Did the delay to the Cross Country train cause you to miss a connection and arrive at your destination late?

Delay repay would be for your entire journey based on the combination of tickets, not just the leg you were delayed on.

There isn't sufficient information in the opening post to say who the claim should go to.

If we were able to see the originally booked itinerary and compare this to the actual running times, we would be able to advise accordingly.

The key question is how late you arrived at Brighton.

Delay Repay isn't interested in how late you were during your journey - just how late you were at your final destination. So if ( and this is hypothetical - I doubt if your real journey included a change like this) you were expecting to have a ninety minute connection onto a service that ran every two hours, and you were eighty-five minutes late but still made your connection so arriving at your final destination on time, then you would have no delay repay claim, rather than being able to claim for more than an hour's delay.
