I bought a one day travelcard from Chelmsford to London on Sat 22nd May

Part of my journey took me to Blackhorse Rd where I planned to get an overground service to Harringay Green Lanes.

My train arrived 25mins late and ran through to Gospel Oak without stopping, So I had to return on the same train to my intended stop!!
48min delay.

I claimed my delay repay from Greater Anglia who acknowledged my claim the next day.
3 days later I received an email stating that as it wasn't one of their trains, they couldn't approve the claim and sent my details on to London Overground.

I've had nothing since.

Does anybody know who should I get help from?

Regards

Vic

You are generally supposed to claim Delay Repay from the Train Operating Company (TOC) that caused the delay. It appears that the train that was 25 minutes late was the London Overground (LO) train. Information about claiming for delays on LO can be found on this page on the TfL website.

Other forum members may be able to provide more assistance soon, but this might be helpful for now,

In view of the fact that your journey was more than 28 days ago, it is too late for a simple claim to TfL. I suggest you follow the postal claim route detailed on the linked page, enclosing copies of the emails from GA, as evidence that you commenced your claim within the allotted period.

The claim was already forwarded to London Overground.

The OP should contact LO to find out where the claim is currently.

Thanks for your replies.

I thought as I bought the ticket from Greater Anglia, then they would be liable.

I'll contact LO as see what happens
