Please can anybody explain why?
Just before the lockdown I undertook a long journey with split tickets involving three different TOCs.
TOC ‘A’ for the first part of my journey, no delay
TOC ‘B’ for the second part, 15 mins delay but would still have made my connection
TOC ‘C’ for third part, but train cancelled resulting in 60 mins delay.
Therefore submitted delay repay form to TOC ‘C’ as they had caused the delay. They rejected my claim saying TOC’A’ was responsible, and sent my claim to ‘A’. They replied saying we will accept your claim, and yesterday got a cheque from them.... even though their train had been punctual.
