Not 100% sure if this belongs here or in Disputes & Prosecutions, mods please move if I'm wrong.

Yesterday (26/5) I had a day trip out to Pembrokeshire. There were a few disruptions, and I was hoping for some advice on what delay repay/refunds I am eligible for.

Tickets held (both railcard discounted):
Anytime Day Return Cathays - Carmarthen £18.30
Explore West Wales Day Ranger £9.95

Situation 1:
Planned:
0702 Cathays - Cardiff Central 0712
0721 Cardiff Central - Fishguard & Goodwick 0951

The 0702 was cancelled. I spotted this when still at home around 0630, so was able to leave home early and walk to Cardiff Central to catch the planned 0721, which ran to time. Am I eligible for any compensation for this, or as I was not actually delayed does this not qualify?

I then spent some time on the Fishguard & Milford Haven branches without incident, and returned to Carmarthen.

Situation 2:
Planned: 1452 Carmarthen - Tenby 1536

This train was stifling due to no aircon and travelled very slowly to Whitland (arriving there +37) where it was terminated due to a fault (I don't know if this related to the aircon or its slowness). We were told to wait for a replacement bus to Tenby, but I decided to cut my losses and return to Cardiff. Does this qualify as an abandoned journey for a refund, or as I had already used the ranger a few times does it not count? Could I instead claim for 30-59 minutes delay repay?

Situation 3:
Planned:
1610 Whitland - Cardiff Central 1837
1856 Cardiff Central - Cathays 1902

The first train ran late, arriving at Cardiff Central at 1858 (per RTT). The next train I could get to Cathays was the 1926 which arrived at Cathays at 1933. Instead of the half-hour wait I decided to walk home, stopping for dinner in town on the way. What can I claim here? 30-59 minute delay repay on both tickets (probably omitting the detail of not getting the train all the way to Cathays to simplify things, as the form only asks for your planned journey)? Or does this count as an abandoned journey.

Thank you for any advice.
