Delay repay including weekend first?

My Virgin EC train was delayed over 45 minutes and I realise that I can claim 50% of the ticket cost, but I had also purchased Weekend First upgrade on board, so I expect that to be subject to the 50% delay repay too. Will it?

I don't see why it shouldn't be included.

After all, if you had a first anytime and only recieved delay repay for a standard anytime, you'd be complaining that you hadn't been given enough compensation...

I'd say it's included, although Virgin West Coast did try and weasel their way out of paying on my Weekend First this summer. Hopefully EC aren't as bad

If only - one cup of coffee a small muffin and a wrap. Only one run thoigh of the food and drinks trolleys in the full 2hr 45 min journey. Normally there are at least two runs of the drinks, at least.
