On my daily journey.i connect from main line to a branch line.
The branch line journey is timetabled for 7 minutes but actually takes 6 minutes.
On Friday I was delayed on the main line. My planned journey had me timetabled to arrive at 1736, but according to realtraintimes the train I was due to take arrived at 1735 (as per usual 1 minutes earlier than timetabled).
The train i ended up taking i arrived at 1835 (arriving 1 minutes earlier than the timetabled 1836).
I put in a 60 minute delay request which was declined as it was a 59 minute delay from my timetabled arrival.
My thinking is that it was a 60 minute delay from when I would of arrived if the main line train wasn't delayed.
