Also, remember that your ticket is vastly discounted compared to people purchasing Anytimes and allows unlimited flexibility. Seasons are often expensive but good value. They compare favourably with other modes
of transport - you'd be due nothing with a bus ticket, or if you were delayed when driving.

I know. I was just using this point to respond to the suggestion that Season Ticket holders get a better deal when it comes to compensation than day ticket holders. They don't, they get a slightly worse deal but the other benefits of the deason ticket more than make up for it.

They don't always - there are quite a few direct debit schemes out there.

Ok But that is fairly reliable revenue. It's about budget surety, you have your banked base line income and historical data on non season ticket revenue.

The historical data being less reliable due to it not being an actual

Although the Season Ticket holder can surrender his ticket for a refund, or change it to another route (but I think we're way o/t now!)
