I intended to take a journey with a 1646 departure time and 1953 arrival time.
I arrived at the station around 40 minutes early, and the train from the previous hour had still not departed. So I was able to travel on a 1553 service. If departing on time, this would provide a 1853 arrival, but due to the 25 minute delay in departure this would actually give me a 1908 arrival time.
My journey on the delayed 1553 was delayed further enroute, and ultimately I arrived at my destination station at 1953 (this was a 1923 arrival running +30).
Please can it be clarified if the above meets delay repay criteria and what counted as my itinerary once I boarded the late 1553?
