delay repay allowances

According to the realtime train website my train was 58.5 minutes late. Would i get the commensation level for trains that are 60mins late i.e do they round up

Not unless their systems have it recorded as 60 minutes, or it's processed manually and they are feeling generous.

Is there no compensation for a 30 minutes plus delay? Most train operators offer something at that level.

Once I went on Avanti and missed the connection due to it being 10 late. Waited for the next connecting service to my destination 30 mins after.

It was due to arrive at my destination exactly 30 minutes after the original train, but, as it was 15 seconds early, Avanti decided to give me the 15-29 min delay bracket.

So no, I don’t think they’d be feeling generous.

I think I read somewhere that delay repay is calculated using Working time tables and not public timetables their is a slight difference between the two.

Delay Repay is paid based on the time you arrived vs the advertised time at which you should have arrived. So actual vs public timetable.
