Hi all,

I have a quick question I hope someone can answer.

I have an advanced ticket which includes a replacement bus journey. It's a TFW only fare.

If I miss the connection due to a delayed bus (or other reason in fact), are you allowed to take another operator's (GWR in this case) trains? If I am not, it would lead to a fairly significant delay.

Thanks

If the delay would exceed an hour then TfW are obliged to make arrangements (with GW) for onward travel. Whether they will....

May be worth keeping an eye on your progress on (eg) Google Maps and if it’s obvious you’re going to be delayed, send a message to TFW/GWR on social media asking them to confirm you can take the next train going your way.
