This weekend the level crossing at Deganwy will be ripped out, and over next week a new one will be commissioned.
The old level crossing and its mechincal workings will be scrapped, does anybody know any Preserved railways that need any parts or the whole thing?

The only thing there can't have is the lights on top of the barriers

No it isn't.

Yes that is the one, the box is not being replaced yet!!.

It might be a touchy subject but there plans to turn it into CCTV

Was the matter of the crossing infrastructure ever a point of discussion when Deganwy Marina and all the new housing was being planned?

Not sure if this link will work, but Welshpool and Llanfair Railway were saying they may need a full crossing. I don't think it's such a wide crossing as Deganwy, but maybe different barriers could be sourced.
