I've noticed recently that on the West Coastway at least, my last few trips have involved noticeably more 'aggressive' driving on Southern. I don't mean aggressive as to be unsafe, but for example this service made up 7 minutes with only 1/2 a minute of recovery time in the timetable. My experience on other services has been similar, with trains arriving at some stations noticeably ahead. I totally appreciate the.. increased efficiency when trying to recover time, but just was wondering whether this was actually a change of policy at Southern as it has definitely been a noticeable shift.. or is it just my experience?
Thanks
