Dolgellau to Chorley is all Arriva. I've done this journey plenty of times before. North West and Wales Day Rover £6.50.

Tywyn to Dolgellau was Arriva but is now the high quality Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth

Just looked at routing via Trowbridge and its feasible...you couldn't make it up that the 264 leaves 2 minutes before the 49 arrives.

You might get an early arrival if you are lucky, but you do need to get from Manvers Street to the Town Hall first, if you know the way (simple route) then a quick jog isn't too bad.

Even better is to get off at the Tesco store (timing at xx.26), cross the road and run up Castle Street. Might even catch it if everything does run to time!!

Well, crossing the road isn't quite that simple! With no pavements it's somewhat complicated, from the bus stop terminal you are better running over the footbridge next to the bus stop, that carries you over the Dual Carriageway, then through the park across from me, for a straight path up to the Town Hall bus stops via Park Road. You can cut from the park to Castle Street but it'll take the same time really anyway, maybe a slight bit slower. Can't catch the bus on that road either.

Anyone who needs a 'pilot' for this route I can show you the way between the two!

Theres no real rush as I'm overnighting in the Premier Inn by the bus station in Bristol. Can always grab a swift half.

Appreciate that. Just didn't want to send someone via the park and the attendants chavs, or to scoot up by Lloyds Bar.

The road, though busier, is less deadly!!!
