Why are the December WTT's so bad?
For some reason the timetables are in Excel format - which is not too bad - but the amount of extra lines in the spreadsheets is silly.
Every location has 4 or 5 lines for
arr - but not every one is used
pass - not required in the past as a train not calling had a / in the time - like 08/35 - everyone on the railway understands that
dep - each departure has a Capital T in the time - like 08T35, sometimes a B is included 08TB35 - there is nothing to say what the T or B means
Running Line - Even though it might not be possible to change running lines at that location
Allowance. - not required at every station/junction
Then there are no platforms shown at any location and despite the times being in an Excel Sheet they are not in time order
Example in book CB02 Down Line - Heaton Chapel just had dep and Levenshulme had dep and mgn
Now both stations have
Pass
Dep
Running Line
Allowance
So we go from 1 or 2 lines to 4 for each location.
What are they thinking of?
