I think that the TOCs only have to consult Statutory and otherwise properly constituted bodies like passenger associations. But if you ask nicely they might put you on their stakeholder consultation list - I did and EMT kindly sent me their consultation for the Dec 09 changes.

As I said, they don't have to, but if they have a good stakeholder manager like Emma Knight at EMT, then they might be amenable and it does allow them to show that they are taking a wider range of views into account.

Here in North Wales, the consultation appears to be with,Taith which represents the six North Wales County Councils,and thats about it,
my local consitutued passenger association is not consultated, so we get info via other means, its a pity all this appears a closly guarded secret, I had hoped since WAG took over Railways in Wales, consultation might have become more open. I also have a feeling that under the Govt Of Wales act consultation must involve the voluntary sector, i will ask this question with A.Ms and give Chiltern as an example of wider involvement.

The changes to the Matlock and Aslockton services were out to consultation with stakeholders in May.

Well the LOROL 313s won't be coming to FCC this December as FCC and the other parties are still in talks so I guess that also means Southern won't see 313s their way as well.

More then likely will be seeing them in May 2010, so that should please some people...

December '09 now in TSDB. EMT looks to be pretty similar to know but Sheffield is half-hourly and Bedford is served by the Nottingham semi-fast.

NRES doesn't seem to work but can get times on XC website and presumably other TOC websites.

Some will and some won't (due to having to fit in with freight trains and also services from Matlock)

It's an internal thing.

The train services database (TSDB) is accessed from the Train Services Inquiry (TSI) part of TOPS and as such is staff only access. However it sends daily updates to the online journey planners to keep them upto date.

Just look on TOC websites and use their journey planner. As I said above I've found schedules in XC's journey planner but will probably work on most (does not work on NRES).

The first 5 days of the Dec 2009 services can now be looked up via WebTIS.
